This picture, quite simple in it's way, won a pictorial trophy in our major local camera club. I thought there were better pictures, but I'm sure it was the idea that actually won. All the other work was 'conventional'. The picture was produced under the enlarger and is a composite print made by printing through a hole in a card - the girl - and then shielding that area using a piece of card on a wire whilst printing the main picture. In each case, the cards were kept moving slightly during exposure to achieve a smooth joint. Planning is needed here, and there is always the chance of getting it wrong.
